Terms + Conditions

When booking Fontenoy Cottages, we have a few guidelines for you to follow. Please read below and agree by checking the box on the enquiry form before proceeding with your enquiry.

Upon confirmation of your booking, we will require a copy of your Photo ID and a credit card as a security bond.

Check in is from 2pm & check out is 10am.
Maximum number of guests - 5 persons only in the cottage - 8 persons only in the Shearers Quarters

Our cottage is equipped for a specific number of guests. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. It is against Health Department Regulations for more persons to occupy a property than there are beds to accommodate them. At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests staying to exceed the number you booked for. If evidence suggests that there is more than the booked amount of guests we reserve the right to either charge you for the extra guests OR evict all guests without a refund. The guest limits apply at all times during the booking.

Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay/visit.

Structures
Tents, caravans and other structures are not to be erected or occupied at the property.

Smoking
Smoking and vapouring on the property is prohibited indoors. Smoking indoors will result in an additional cleaning fee being charged. Any cigarette butts left outside will also incur an additional cleaning fee.

Cleaning
The house must be left in the tidy condition as it was upon arrival. Excess cleaning fees may apply if the property is left in a dirty condition for example kitchen equipment including dishes not washed and put away, BBQ and oven not cleaned. Should the property be damaged upon arrival, or damages occur during your stay, please report to us immediately. A fee will be charged for soiled mattresses or other furniture such as couches and/or smells of cigarette smoke inside the cottage.

Pets*
Pets are welcome with prior approval. House trained pets are allowed inside the living areas of the cottages. Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms or on any furniture. You are required to pick up after your pet outside. Disposal of pet faeces can be into the trees behind the cottage, do not put it in plastic bags and then in the bin.

*Pets are considered dogs only. No more than 2 dogs at any time per cottage

Commercial activity
No commercial activity is to take place at the property without approval.

Children & infants
Fontenoy Cottage is suitable for children or infants, but as it is a working farm, small children must be supervised at all times

Events
Functions, parties, schoolies and large group gatherings are strictly prohibited at Fontenoy Cottages.

Noise
The property is a privately-owned home, and we enforce a good neighbour policy. Please keep all noise inside the cottage after midnight. Fontenoy Cottages is intended for holiday purposes only.

Used towels
Place all used towels in front of the washing machine for cleaning. 

Indemnity
Guests and their visitor’s actions, conduct and safety are the responsibility of the Guests. A condition of entering and/or staying at this property means that all Guests understand and agree to indemnify the owners against any responsibility or action(s) (legal or other), due to any action(s), incident(s), loss or injury(s) while within or outside of the premises (including, but not limited to, the grounds, facilities, structures, etc.) during a stay or at any other time. Guests are held fully responsible and accept liability for the actions of visitors using the property and facilities, which may result in injury or harm when staying or visiting the property and it’s surrounds.
